Is window tinting legal?
Yes, under certain conditions. The windscreen and front side windows must have at least 70 % light transmission. Rear side windows and the rear window can be tinted to any degree provided exterior mirrors are fitted on both sides. We use only certified, TÜV-compliant films.
Does the tint need to be registered in the vehicle documents?
Yes – dark films on rear windows generally need to be entered in the registration certificate. We advise you on this and provide all the necessary paperwork.
Can the film be removed later?
Yes. High-quality films can be removed without residue without damaging the glass. This is useful when selling the vehicle or when the film needs replacing after several years.
How long does a window film last?
Quality films last 10 years and more with good care. We guarantee against delamination, bubbles and colour change.
How long does installation take?
