Refrigerant recharge (R134a / R1234yf)
Old refrigerant is extracted and weighed, the system is filled to the correct charge according to the vehicle data. Oil fraction and system pressure are checked and set to manufacturer spec.
Leak test & system check
Leak detection with UV tracer or electronic leak detector. Condition of compressor, dryer and hoses is assessed – you get a clear picture of your system's health.
Cabin disinfection & odour removal
Ozone treatment or disinfection foam in the evaporator area permanently eliminates bacteria, mould and odours – for fresh, clean cabin air.

Frequently asked questions
How often should the AC be serviced?
Manufacturers recommend a service every 2 years. After 3 years without servicing, cooling performance is usually already noticeably reduced. If you switch off the AC in winter, run it briefly at least once a year to keep the seals lubricated.
Which refrigerant does my car need?
Vehicles up to approximately 2016 usually use R134a. Newer vehicles (from ~2017) use the more eco-friendly R1234yf, which is slightly more expensive. The refrigerant type is shown on the AC data plate under the bonnet.
Can I recharge the AC myself?
DIY cans from car accessory shops are not recommended: they only top up without extracting old refrigerant or checking for leaks. You often over-charge the system, damaging the compressor. Bring your car to us for a professional service.
What should I do if my AC smells bad?
Unpleasant smells when switching on the AC are almost always caused by bacteria and mould on the evaporator. Professional disinfection removes the cause permanently – not just the symptom.
My AC doesn't cool anymore – what could it be?
